We launched Presidio Healthcare Insurance Company launched in Texas in December of 2025 as America's first pro-life, Christian health insurer.

The state of Texas was selected as the strategic launch market for several reasons and has been instrumental in Presidio's establishment as an innovative and protective health insurance option for individuals and families.

Why Texas?

Why not start with a more populous state like California or New York? The answer has to do with our approach to building a sustainable health insurance company.

Here's what went into that decision:

  • Large population of members that fit the Presidio demographic
  • Favorable regulatory environment for insurance innovation
  • Socio-political alignment with our commitment to pro-life values

Why one state?

By starting with one state and doing it well, Presidio can:

  • Work out operational issues on a smaller scale
  • Build a track record that regulators and providers in other states will respect
  • Generate member testimonials and data that helps in future expansions
  • Demonstrate financial stability to other state regulators

Beyond Texas

Presidio Healthcare is currently available in Texas and is pending approval in five additional markets:

  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • Indiana
  • North Carolina
  • Ohio

Presidio anticipates further expansion in 2027.
