Why is it Catholic?

Presidio's purpose is rooted in Christ's healing ministry and seeks to further healthcare that is fully aligned with Christian values by following the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services ("ERDs"). The ERDs have been used by Catholic hospitals for decades as a clear and actionable guide that applies biblical principles to evolving healthcare technologies and situations. They also provide the surest litmus test to ensure our members' premium dollars are not used to fund services any Christian would find immoral.
